We’re passionate about feet. It’s our thing. Did you know that most people have one foot that’s smaller than the other?
So, we’ve designed a range of footwear that means you can find the right Blundstone for you. Different footbeds providing varying levels of cushioning and support, different lasts, lacing systems (traditional laces vs zips), different leathers, “V” cut vs Chelsea cut - all of these variations bring diversity to the sizing and fit.
It means that there’s sure to be the perfect Blundstone for your feet.
To ensure your boots are fit to go everywhere life takes you, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- All Blundstone boots are unisex with the exception of the Women’s High-Top Boots and Women’s Heel Boots.
- While checking the fit of your boot, there should be a slight give in the heel, with enough space to slide a finger between the back of your heel and the boot.
- With repeated use, your Blundstone boots will stretch slightly over the instep, but never stretch lengthwise.
- The super 550 series feature extra insoles that can be used to adjust sizing. And all of the Kid’s styles have a removable insole which helps you adjust the size for growing feet.
- If you prefer trying on a pair in person, use our store locator to find you nearest local retailer.
- Blundstone boots and shoes are marked with Australian sizing. Blundstone ½ will affect the width more than the length.
- Try on different styles and sizes, try them on both feet, and try to shop in the afternoon when your feet may be slightly swollen - this helps avoid buying boots that are too small. And, be sure to walk around.

A STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO MEASURE YOUR FEET
STEP 1
Measure your foot length. An easy way to do this is to stand on a piece of paper and trace the outline of your foot. Then measure from the back of your heel to the tip of your big toe. This will give you the length of your foot. Make sure you measure both feet and go with the largest size.
STEP 2
When it comes to comfort, it is just as important to get the right boot width as the length. While our leathers will stretch and mold to your feet over time, if you prefer a wider fit select a half size up.
STEP 3

STEP 4
When you receive your boots make sure you try them on standing, wearing either socks or stockings that you wear with your boots. Please also try these on a carpeted surface so that the bottom of the boots is protected.
